Australian government recently announcing a new regulations that affected the current application process for Partner Visa. What is this latest changes in Partner Visa and what should you do about it?

Do you have a partner with Australian citizenship or does your spouse have Permanent Resident status in 2018/2019?

Are you one of the people who wants to migrate to Australia through the Australian Partner Visa pathway? If so, you must pay attention to the following changes in Partner Visa information.

On 28th November 2018, the Federal Parliament passed the Migration Amendments Bill 2016 in regards to family violence and other measures. With the enactment of this regulation, it will have a direct impact on the Australian Partner Visa process. This certainly has its own reasons.

The purpose of this regulation refers to the number of acts of violence experienced by one partner or even violence to their child. This new regulation aims to protect them from domestic violence that is often carried out by one partner.

The passing of this bill ensures that a sponsor meets all of the character requirements before the application is made for the partner visa. This will establish the safety of the applicant and decrease the family violence statistics in Australia.

As of the new family domestic violence regulation, there will be immigration rule changes in 2019 in the process of applying for a Australian visa partner. Initially, this process can immediately be started by submitting all data from the applicant’s side, then making a special application for the sponsor, but this is predicted to be the opposite.

Referring to the new regulation for Partner Visa in 2019, the process of applying for an Australian visa partner, it will be first to submit an application as a sponsor, then if it has been approved, it will continue to the applicant’s visa application. Another impact to the changes in the partner visa regulation in 2019 that is likely to occur is the processing time.

With the new system, the total processing time will tend to be longer than the previous process. In the approval process of partner visa sponsorship application, it can take up to 12 weeks. This does not include processing time in terms of applicants. Not to mention if the application for partner visa sponsorship is rejected, it will cause this process to become even more difficult.

Related to this new regulation for partner visa for 2019, it shows that the Australian Immigration Office will be stricter on the regulations and the process of partner or spouse migration to Australia.

There is no certainty or an official press release from the immigration authorities regarding when this new regulation will take effect.

Looking at the history of changes implemented, every July is the start of the new Financial Year in Australia.

Usually changes occur then. Therefore, there is a lot of speculation that this system will take effect along with all changes in visa prices in July 2019.

This information about changes in Partner Visa will be very important, given that there are still many people who want to spend their lives together with partners in Australia.

Considering that every year the immigration authorities will be stricter on migration regulations, it would be better for those of you who want to migrate to Australia to use a registered migration agent service.

I applied a parnetner visa subclass 309/100 at the very end of 2022. PROFESSIONAL & COMPETENCE!Those words are to describe ONE derland Consulting. Firstly, I know ONE derland from my brother who lives in Perth. He also knew it from google. I actually have another option of Migration Agent in Melbourne whom I knew them before. Getting a visitor visa shouldn't be so difficult, or take so long, but unfortunately my partner and I found out the hard way. We applied ourselves in February 2022 and received a refusal four months later.We used ONEderland to reapply and nine weeks later we have had the visa granted. After two years of covid travel restrictions we could have saved six months and a lot of stress by going to ONEderland in the first instance. Even with the burden of the pandemic they achieved 100% success rate when it came to visas and exemptions for my wife, son and step son.
