Subclass 189 Visa is offered through a point tested basis and you don’t need a sponsor to apply for this visa.

  • You must have an occupation on the relevant skilled list.
  • You must have a positive skills assessment for the occupation.
  • You must be able to score a minimum of 65 points.
  • You must be no more than 45 years of age.
  • You must show a proficient English ability.
  • You must be invited to apply for this visa by the Australian government.

Subclass 190

Skilled Nominated Visa

Subclass 190 visa is a permanent visa that allows nominated skilled workers to live and work in Australia indefinitely in certain state/territory.

This visa requires you to be nominated by Australian state/territory government.

  • You must have a positive skills assessment for the occupation.
  • You must be able to score a minimum of 65 points.

Subclass 491

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa

Subclass 491 is a temporary visa that allows skilled migrants to work, live, and study in a designated regional area of Australia for 5 years.

This visa requires you to be nominated by Australian state or territory government agency or indicate that you will be sponsored by an eligible relative.

  • You must have an occupation on the relevant skilled list.
  • You must have a positive skills assessment for the occupation.
