Breaking News: ImmiAccount Launches New Application Import Feature for Easier Access to Child and Other Family Visa Applications
The Department of Home Affairs has just introduced a significant update to the Child and Other Family Visas program. Starting on 23 July 2025, applicants can import their paper-based Child and Other Family visa applications into ImmiAccount, unlocking online services for these applications. It provides a smoother and more intuitive experience for:
- Viewing and tracking applications in real time
- Updating personal details, including address and contact information
- Providing additional documents, such as health or character certificates
- Managing payments, including fees and outstanding balances
- Withdrawing or amending applications as needed.
Why is it important?
Previously, all Child and Other Family visa applicants were burdened with a complicated paper-based application process, which necessitated the submission of all updated documents for the visa applications. This process was not only time-consuming but also costly. Moreover, they had limited visibility into their visa process.
The introduction of the new import feature in ImmiAccount brings a sense of relief, as it significantly simplifies and streamlines the application process, reducing the time and effort required.
With the new ability to import your Child or Other Family visa application to ImmiAccount, you gain a powerful tool for monitoring and updating your visa application with ease.
What else can you do in ImmiAccount?
Once your Child or Other Family visa application is imported, you can seamlessly access all major online tools and services, including:
- Change contact info or passport details
- View outstanding or completed fees
- Add health, character or other documents
- Respond quickly to any further requests
- Cancel or withdraw your application if the situation changes
Is this service available to all applications?
