New postcodes for Working Holiday Visa Australia in 2016
NEWS: There have been postcodes added to the regional list for the Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417). These codes are part of the Migration Regulations 1994, regarding the Working Holiday Visa. This also includes the definition of Specified Work and Regional Australia. So what is the significances of this new postcodes for Working Holiday Visa Australia?
This new Instrument, IMMI 16/087, has commenced on 16 September 2016 and will cancel the previous Instrument IMMI 16/041, this will contain new specific locations for work activities that will fully meet the eligibility requirements for the approval of your second Working Holiday (subclass 417) visa.
There have been two postcodes added to the locations: 6076 and 6111 in Perth Hills, Western Australia. Please be aware that on 5 May 2016, Norfolk Island was also been included as a regional location for this specific purpose, as well.
This list of activities has remained unchanged:
- animal and plant cultivation
- pearling and fishing
- felling and tree farming
- any mining
- any construction
This information may be foreign to some readers, but it is regarding the postal codes for the working holiday visa, which will need to be known to meet the requirements for the visa.
