For those of you who are lucky enough to have your occupation listed on the WASMOL you may be eligible for Western Australia state nomination.

After being nominated you may then apply for the SKILLED NOMINATED (Subclass 190) Visa.

This is a point based Visa which will allow you to live and work in Western Australia permanently.

The Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) Visa will also allow you to enroll in Medicare,  travel to and from Australia freely for five years from the date the visas is granted and if eligible, apply for Australian citizenship.

However there are various requirements you would first need to meet in order to be eligible for this visa

  • Your occupation will need to be listed on both the Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List (CSOL) and the Western Australia Skilled Migration Occupations List (WASMOL)

  • You will also need to meet the 60 points required on General Skilled Migration points test.

There are many things that can contribute to this points test.
