Pathway on how Skilled Brick Layes Can Apply For Working Visa in Australia
Through CPC30111 Certificate III in Bricklaying
This is 2-3 year nationally recognized Australian course offered by a variety of TAFE Institutes as well as Silver Trowel.
You will learn the necessary skills to become a qualified Bricklayer or block layer and will become competent in use of all industrial tools and equipment used on-the-job and the training will be performed in a real life workplace environment.

Upon completion of this study you may be able to apply for the Skilled – Independent (subclass 189) OR Working Visa.
Through Skilled – Independent (subclass 189) Visa
This is an independent points based working Visa that DOES NOT require state or company sponsorship. It offers Permanent Residency and full working rights in Australia.
You may be eligible to apply as long as your nominated occupation -Brick Layer’ is still listed on the Skilled Occupations (SOL) List at the time of application and that you’re able to meet the 60 point requirement.
Through Temporary Work (Skilled) (subclass 457) Visa
Another option would be to apply for would be the Temporary Work (Skilled) (subclass 457) Visa.
Although this visa is not point based, it does require company sponsorship and it allows skilled workers to come to Australia and work for an approved company for up to four years.
To be eligible for this visa, you will first need to find this company willing to sponsor you and you would be required to complete a Skills Assessment test with the relevant accessing authority based on your nominated occupation of Bricklayer.
You would also need to score at least 5 in all components of the IELTS test.
Through The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)
Although a harder visa to qualify for, the Employer Nomination Scheme Visa is a permanent company sponsored Working visa available for highly skilled Migrants.
You will need to show a larger amount of documentation when you apply for this visa however unlike the 457, it offers permanent residency and a plethora of other benefits.
3 common pathways to applying for the ENS visa are as follows:

Temporary Residence Stream- You have been on a 457 for at least 2 years

Direct Entry Stream- You can apply for this visa, even without having previously held another Australian working visa before.

However you will need to prove that you meet the skill requirement for the occupation by completing a Skill assessment and show that you have worked in your nominated occupation for at least 3 years.

Through Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (Subclass 187) Visa (RSMS)
