This was updated on 27th April of 2023. The Australian Government announced an increase in the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT) from $53,900 to $70,000 starting on July 1st, 2023.
This is the first time the Australian government has changed the TSMIT in over a decade. This change shows that almost 90% of full-time jobs in Australia pay more than the current TSMIT, indicating that the current migration system is broken.
